Stephen D. Bohling (Interim Pastor)   

Pastor Steve comes to us from Trinity Lutheran in Blue Earth MN where he served for 25 years prior to his semi-retirement.  This is his second interim position and St John welcomes him as we begin our call process.  He and his wife Nancy live in Blue Earth, but he will be staying here at the north parsonage on 10th St NE two or three nights during the week.  The Bohlings have three grown children, a daughter and 2 sons.  Steve loves his ministry with the Lutheran Church which he sees as "faithful to scripture while open to the created world and the mysteries of life".

 

 

Martin Aberle (Youth Director) 

Martin "Marty" Aberle has lived in Waseca since March of 2006 when he became the first ever combined Director of Youth Ministries of St. John and Grace Lutheran Churches.  He and his family moved "up north" from Washington, Illinois where he was the Director of Children and Family Ministries at his home congregation for 4 years.  He has been called to serve youth and their families since attending college.  Prior to choosing ministry as a profession, he has worked with youth on many levels including crisis therapy, school consultant,  family therapist, and a Master's level clinician for a group home......to be continued......
